Required Qualifications

• •Valid Driver's License
• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •18 months to 3 years of additional training
• •Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• •Must be at least 18 years of age
• •Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
• •Must be organized and detail oriented
• •Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time
• •Must be able to provide exceptional service to guests
• •Must be able to think clearly and remain calm in pressure situations
• •Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
• •Must possess the ability to maintain safety as the top priority
• •Must be able to ensure communications from the sales team are being performed and executed at a high level
• •Must be able to ensure proper food safety programs are being followed
• •Must be able to respond to telephone and walk in inquiries
• •Must be able to determine guest's needs and specifications
• •Must be able to handle event bookings from initial contact to completion of event
• •Must be able to produce and distribute contracts
• •Must be able to complete catering paperwork, menus and correspondence
• •Must be able to handle all post event written correspondence
• •Must be able to be present at client site visits, tastings and events
• •Must be able to support the sales efforts of the department with emphasis on catering segment

Desired Qualifications

• •Experience in a single unit catering, convention center, or hotel banquet business
• •Previous hotel and catering experience
• •Prior sales experience
