Job Summary
Set up buffet lines, beverage stations, dining areas, and event décor as assigned. Serve food and beverages in buffet, plated, family-style, or passed hors d'oeuvres service while replenishing stations and maintaining clean serving areas. Clear tables, assist with dining room maintenance, and help with event setup and breakdown including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service to guests and follow food safety and sanitation standards. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth event operations and perform additional duties as assigned by the Event Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation to event locations throughout the Kansas City metro area
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous catering, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
