Job Summary
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and negotiate terms for assigned pharmaceutical and OTC categories. Lead execution of programs to maximize revenue, efficiency, and profitability while acting as the primary point of contact for vendor partners. Coordinate business reviews, analyze key performance metrics, and resolve issues through root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Forecast initial purchase quantities with Inventory Management and review new product submissions for viability. Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop category strategies and maintain current market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- University degree
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced and/or progressive role in vendor relations
- Good negotiating, problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with vendors
- Excellent time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities under limited supervision
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in business
- A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and OTC market
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
