Job Summary

Category Specialist for CAPEX & Facilities Management responsible for developing and executing category plans, driving value, and managing end-to-end source-to-contract activities. Duties include analysing spend, developing sourcing strategies, preparing RFx documents, managing supplier performance, negotiating contracts, ensuring contract compliance and expiry tracking, delivering cost savings targets through data-driven decision making, reporting KPIs and benefits, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and guiding end users on compliant procurement practices. Requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers, alignment with policy and probity requirements, and a focus on value, quality, and risk outcomes within a healthcare procurement context. Required Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years' experience in Procurement or Category Management
  • experience in CAPEX and Facilities Management procurement
  • experience in a medium to large, multi-site organisation

  • ability to deliver category plans and sourcing outcomes in a complex environment
