Category Purchaser responsible for executing procurement activities and supplier management across assigned categories, driving cost, quality, and on-time delivery targets, leading annual price negotiations, maintaining pricing/item data in ERP, and developing supply strategies with cross-functional teams. Requires independent task execution, supplier relationship management, and ongoing monitoring of inventory to support working capital efficiency, with a focus on cost reduction, supplier quality, and delivery performance.
Required Qualifications
- Procurement/Sourcing experience in category management
- Experience with supplier negotiations and supplier development
- ERP systems experience (data maintenance, pricing)
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Inventory and cost optimization knowledge
- Understanding of procurement policies and contractual standards
