Job Summary
Lead end-to-end category procurement strategy across global sourcing initiatives, driving QCLDM improvements in quality, cost, logistics, and supplier development. Define and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and build a high-performing global supplier network. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to align category plans with product and business priorities, using cost modelling and market intelligence to inform decisions. Role located in Desford, UK with onsite work five days a week; domestic relocation is available and relocation support is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Category Management: leads end-to-end strategy and execution; Strategic Sourcing: supplier selection, contracting, negotiation; Supplier Management – Manufacturing: governance, continuous improvement, supplier performance; Business Intelligence: data analytics and market insight to support sourcing decisions
