Job Summary
Category Merchant responsible for assortment planning, vendor selection, negotiation, financial planning, inventory turn implications, advertising plans, merchandise presentation, distribution, and vendor relations for the Business Essentials team in US Retail Stores. Responsible for achieving financial objectives by developing and executing a customer-centric strategy based on deep customer insights; collaborates with cross-functional partners to drive budgeted sales, margin, and inventory goals. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years of buying-related experience; strong knowledge of industry trends, inventory management, logistics, and marketing techniques; proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and P+L management.
