Category Manager

Analyze sales results and develop assortment plans by product group to achieve targets. Manage category advertising, negotiate terms with suppliers, and oversee inventory management for product life cycles. Develop marketing programs, identify private label opportunities, and coordinate with Operations to optimize store performance. Directly supervise DSD and Merchandising Clerks for Grocery categories, handling training, directing, and appraising. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing with five years' retail buying experience.
