Job Summary
Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for critical semiconductor materials, including wafers, photoresists, CMP slurries, specialty gases, and chemicals. Develop global sourcing strategies, identify and qualify suppliers aligned with technology roadmaps, and negotiate contracts to optimize total cost of ownership. Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality compliance. Collaborate with R&D, process engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to align material requirements with production needs and support new product introductions. Manage procurement performance and reporting activities to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, physics, materials science, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within semiconductors, electronics, or advanced manufacturing
- Proven experience negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and driving cost optimization initiatives
- Strong understanding of semiconductor materials and processes, including wafers, specialty gases, chemicals, photoresists, lithography, etching, and metallization materials
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP/procurement systems and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with fluent English
- German language skills
