Category Manager Packaging EMEA / Corp. Category Expert (m/w/d)

Lead the regional Packaging category strategy for Packaging EMEA, owning the full category lifecycle from supplier selection and cost optimization to sustainability initiatives. Define, lead and drive the region's category roadmap, focusing on cost, supply security, innovation, risk and sustainability levers. Manage regional supplier relationships (RFI, negotiations, contracting and volumes allocations) and coordinate across regions. Onboard alternative materials in alignment with Sika processes and drive sustainability targets with suppliers. Define and communicate budget and targets to the region, create and track strategic procurement KPIs, and identify savings projects to ensure material supply for all facilities served by the category. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience in packaging category management or procurement, with strong negotiation and supplier-management skills, experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of sustainability standards and packaging materials, and excellent analytical and project-management capabilities.
