Job Summary
Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance while leading end-to-end sourcing processes including RFP management and contract negotiations. Conduct thorough market analysis to evaluate industry trends and identify potential suppliers, then manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and legal teams to drive category performance improvements and maintain long-term partnerships. Requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field with 5+ years of procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in procurement software. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of category management principles Procurement processes, and best practices, including experience in RFP drafting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
- Proven negotiation skills with experience in managing high value contracts and supplier relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading strategic sourcing initiatives
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Procurement software and tools
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical procurement practices
- Location: Irving, TX – Hybrid schedule (Tues-Thurs in office)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience with S2P Platforms such as Coupa
