Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for assigned categories, with initial focus on Security and Temp Labor markets. Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify cost-savings opportunities, then prepare and execute RFQs and RFPs. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships regarding pricing, discount structures, and commercial terms while analyzing spending patterns to develop strategic sourcing plans. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and track key performance metrics. Comply with all NOV policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Four Year Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a Senior Buyer role
- Prior procurement experience in the Security and / or Temp Labor markets
- Self-Driven and Results-Oriented
- Ability to review and comprehend contracts
- Critical and strategic thinking
- Ability to Identify both Opportunities and Risk
- Superior Communication Skills
- Consensus Builder, Team Builder and Collaborator
