Job Summary

Develop and implement Ameren-wide sourcing strategies for approximately $2.5 billion in annual spend to leverage the supply base and maximize cost savings. Lead negotiations and contract completion with suppliers, conduct make vs. buy analyses, and manage supplier assessments to mitigate risk while ensuring continuity of supply. Analyze spend across business segments, build cost models, and interpret market intelligence to drive category strategies and total cost of ownership improvements. Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute proposal activities, optimize category management processes, and deliver value through effective contract utilization and dispute resolution.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or University

Seven or more years of progressively responsible and related experience in the SCM field

Experience negotiating substantially large and complex commercial agreements
