Job Summary
Category Manager for IT & Digitalization responsible for optimizing global external spend through strategic procurement and sourcing in IT, cloud, and software. Lead end-to-end sourcing processes (market analysis, RFx, negotiations, contract award, implementation); establish and manage global framework agreements; drive cost savings through negotiations, benchmarking, and demand management; own supplier relationship management with KPIs and continuous improvement; lead executive briefings on major IT & Digitalization contracts; collaborate with EIT leadership, Finance, and Legal for deal approvals and risk management; manage procurement-related risk topics including data security and vendor resilience; own and lead commercial negotiations with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Microsoft for multi-million-dollar agreements ($3M+). Required Qualifications
- Proven experience negotiating enterprise IT, cloud, or software agreements >$3M
- Strong understanding of cloud commercial and licensing economics (hyperscalers and Tier-1 software vendors)
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding (SaaS agreements, licensing models, cloud contracts, consulting agreements)
- Ability to establish and execute strategic procurement plans
- Proven ability to manage change with personal commitment and drive
- Analytical mindset with the ability to build business cases and quantify opportunities
- Clear communication with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience leading RFx processes and negotiations with international suppliers
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leaders
- High integrity and compliance focus
- Comfortably working independently in a global organization
