Job Summary
Lead IT category management to optimize procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, telecommunications, and other tech needs; develop strategic sourcing plans, conduct global, regional, and country market research, and align category goals with organizational objectives. Negotiate favorable contracts, manage supplier performance, and drive cost savings while complying with procurement policies. Build and maintain relationships with business units and IT vendors, influence stakeholders, and deliver data-driven insights through analytics to maximize value from the IT spend. Collaborate with procurement partners, service lines, finance, operations, and legal to ensure risk management and continuous improvement across the supplier network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-8 years of category management experience
- Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M.)
