Job Summary
Category Manager - Information Technology (Indirect Procurement) leads TBCT's IT indirect procurement strategy, developing and executing sourcing plans for IT services, peripherals, hardware, software, telecom, and related categories. Create and manage RFIs and RFPs, gather business requirements, negotiate with suppliers, and drive savings while reducing risk. Maintain a pipeline of initiatives to improve supplier performance, cost effectiveness, and service levels; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with company goals; develop business cases and ROI models, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and financial requirements. The role requires deep IT category knowledge, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; preferred Master’s degree with extensive experience in IT procurement/sourcing and category management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years in IT procurement/sourcing in a large, multinational environment
- Experience leading RFx processes (RFIs/RFPs), supplier management, and indirect spend category management
- Strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and SAP PR/PO processes
- Demonstrated ability to develop category strategies and deliver cost savings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- CPSM/CPM/CPP/CPIM or equivalent designation preferred but not required
