Job Summary
Global Category Manager for HR Services and Legal Services leads multi-year category strategies and sourcing initiatives, partnering with Global HR and Legal leadership to drive value, mitigate risk, and enable consistent service delivery across Agilent’s global footprint. Develops category roadmaps for HR Services and Legal Services, drives standardization and supplier governance, conducts RFPs/RFQs, negotiates complex commercial models, and tracks KPIs and cost savings. Partners across functions to align procurement strategies with regional needs, influences stakeholders to adopt global sourcing policies, and ensures compliance with DOA and audit requirements. Demonstrates experience in indirect services, benefits, outside counsel, IP support, and litigation; leverages market intelligence, benchmarking, and spend analytics to optimize total cost of ownership and drive continuous improvement with key suppliers; manages sensitive supplier relationships with confidentiality and maintains governance through quarterly business reviews and performance scoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline
- 8+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, with strong focus on Indirect services
- Demonstrated experience in HR services/benefits and/or legal services sourcing categories
- Proven success operating in a global, matrixed organization
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management expertise
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
