Job Summary
Category Manager Growth Projects responsible for sourcing and contracting of EPC/construction services for Boardwalk's capital growth portfolio, leading procurement planning, contracting strategies, and end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including supplier prequalification, RFP/RFQ development, negotiation, award documentation, contract management, and post-award administration; requires strong commercial acumen, risk management, and collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, and Finance across capital programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing EPC and construction services contracting for capital programs
- Experience with bid processes, contract negotiation, and post-award administration
- Knowledge of construction contract structures (lump sum, unit rate, T&M) and risk allocation
- FERC-regulated infrastructure procurement documentation familiarity
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple procurement processes in a schedule-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification
- CPSM certification
- Experience with Oracle EBS
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Primavera
- Interstate natural gas pipeline/midstream or FERC-regulated infrastructure experience
