Job Summary
Acting as the business owner for the assigned category, responsible for full P&L performance; end-to-end category management including optimizing product portfolio, supplier relationships, assortment, negotiations, category strategy, and driving sales and margin; ensure optimal selection and competitive pricing through local/international sourcing; source and build supplier base, negotiate terms, secure advertising spend, ensure reliable flow of goods; develop new sourcing and extended range; data-driven decisions to forecast demand and ensure supply; collaborate with supply chain to manage inventory and wastage; work cross-functionally with Product, Supply Chain, Operations and Marketing on strategic projects; requirements include 3-5 years in merchandising/buying/category management, supplier negotiations, pricing/promotion, inventory management, product development, strong analytical and communication skills in Swedish and English, MS Office proficiency; Swedish and English language skills required.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in merchandising / buying, retail and category management
- Experience in supplier negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management and product development
- Strong analytical skills
- Great communication skills in Swedish and English
- Mastery of MS Office (especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) is preferred
