Job Summary
Category Manager Components / Supplier Development Manager Americas combines category management for components & sub-contracting with supplier development and incident management for the Americas region. Responsibilities include supplier price and contract negotiations, developing category strategies, driving cost reduction, conducting new supplier assessments and onboarding, initiating supplier performance improvements, mitigating supplier risks, leading supplier development initiatives and audits to ensure ethical and operational standards, organizing supplier development meetings and business reviews, and achieving KPI targets related to cost management and supplier performance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least 5 years of experience in supplier management or procurement, with strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, ERP/digital procurement tools knowledge, and proven ability to lead initiatives for efficiency and profitability.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier management or a procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial context
