Job Summary
Lead customer-facing category reviews, planning days and JBP forums; translate shopper, scan and market data into clear, actionable insights; own range, assortment and category strategy to unlock growth; partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply; support innovation launches – from forecasting through to post-launch evaluation; identify opportunities to improve category performance, range efficiency and profitability; high-visibility role with direct retailer engagement and influence; step into a more senior, autonomous role with real ownership; opportunity to mentor junior team members and build leadership capability.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Category Management, Category Development or similar
- FMCG experience essential (manufacturer-side preferred)
- Strong analytical capability with experience using shopper / scan data
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and retailers
- Experience in forecasting, range analysis and post-launch evaluation
- A proactive, ownership mindset – someone who takes initiative and drives outcomes
