Job Summary
Category Manager for spirits, tobacco, and confectionery, collaborating with our Hamburg headquarters to optimize the gourmet food category, analyze demand, promotions, and assortment, manage supplier relationships and negotiations, support sales and consultants in maximizing sales, and coordinate advertising space planning with Advertising & Promotion. Requires a business administration degree or relevant experience, strong knowledge of trends in food and beverage, proficiency in SAP and MS Office, and fluency in German and English. Attractive annual gross salary €42,000–€60,200 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completed business administration degree or several years of professional experience as a Category Manager, Area Sales Manager, or Shop Manager
- Sound knowledge and a good sense for trends in the food and beverage sector
- Proficient in SAP and the MS Office suite
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills, an open-minded personality, and strong analytical skills
