Job Summary
Senior Category Management Analyst to support indirect procurement in Monterrey, Mexico. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration to improve supplier management and internal processes, supporting supplier performance reviews, data collection and analysis for strategic sourcing, leading basic to moderately complex sourcing events, driving TCO analyses, and supporting process improvements within a matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field or equivalent in business, supply chain or similar field of study (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably Indirect
- E-Sourcing experience, specifically with reverse auctions
- Strong analytical skills and expert user at Microsoft Excel
- A strong business acumen
- Ability to work within a matrix management environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Process improvement skills
- Project Management Skills - Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks
- Highly organized and can multi-task
- Time Travel Required: 10%
