Job Summary
Lead delivery of consulting projects for priority clients to win long-term deals and ensure profitable, quality outcomes based on global best practices. Build strong internal and client relationships to support Category Management mobilization, pre-sales activities, and lead generation in coordination with Sales and Product teams. Partner with client counterparts to understand needs, sell relevant solutions, and present a joined-up team while conducting quality reviews of delivery and measuring client value. Support and deliver training for dunnhumby sales teams, feed market opportunities back to product teams, and build compelling case studies. Manage risk, uphold values and code of conduct, and protect the team by ensuring necessary skills and training. Contribute to global best practices and thought leadership through blogs, articles, and conference speaking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign educational equivalent)
- 5 years of experience working with retailers and manufacturers in embedding customer insight in existing category management processes
- 5 years of experience delivering business value through customer insights, customer knowledge and customer focused business change
- 5 years of experience working with Customer analytics tools and Assortment optimization tools with Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies (CPGs)
- 2 years of experience supporting Category Management processes for a retailer, ensuring review calendar alignment and compliance
- 2 years of experience supporting CPGs on their work as Category Advisors for a retailer within their Category Management process
- 2 years of experience delivering and working to embed Category Management services within Retailers and CPGs processes
- Must be able to travel domestically within the U.S. up to 10% of time as required to support sales pitches and demos, user training, and team activities
