Job Summary
Category Management Client Lead responsible for leading data-driven category decision-making and embedding category-management frameworks and tools (Power BI dashboards and related dh tools) across client teams. You will translate customer insights into actionable recommendations, deliver structured training and coaching, oversee user setup and usage reporting, and act as the go-to expert for tools and frameworks that underpin category management. You’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels, coach teams to adopt best practices, and drive adoption of analytics-driven insights to improve category outcomes. The role requires strong analytical capability, storytelling to highlight opportunities, and a proactive, organised approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Category Management approaches in retail and/or manufacturer contexts
- Experience with retail/FMCG industry
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Customer Insight based role including data analysis and recommendation development
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working with data, tools, and analytical frameworks
- Ability to distill customer insights into meaningful narratives
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication with ability to influence, coach, and support diverse teams
- Passionate about enabling others and lifting organisational capability
