Job Summary
Analyze international supply markets and develop regional category strategies for Electrical commodity groups including cable assemblies, power supplies, and fans. Select and develop suppliers, implement second-source strategies, and independently negotiate price and framework agreements with national and international partners. Drive cost management initiatives, manage supply risks and bottlenecks, and support supplier audits on quality and performance. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations on technical clarifications and cross-functional projects while contributing to global sourcing initiatives. Requires several years of strategic procurement experience, proficiency in reading BOMs and technical drawings, and fluency in English and Polish.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in strategic or technical procurement
- Experience at Professional or Senior Category Leader level
- Strong background in supplier selection and development
- Price and contract negotiations experience
- Cost and value analysis experience
- International supplier management experience
- Ability to read, understand, and evaluate BOMs
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to read and understand specifications
- Experience working closely with Engineering and technical departments
- Confidence in technical discussions with suppliers
- Independent handling of international supplier negotiations
- Confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to moderate between different interests
- Strong analytical and structured working style
- High level of ownership
- Hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to bridge technical and commercial topics
- Strong team player in an international environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%
- English fluency at negotiation level
- Polish fluency at negotiation level
- ERP knowledge of M3 or SAP
