Category Lead - Direct Procurement

Job Summary
Establish a new supply base in India for core product parts by identifying, negotiating with, and developing strategic in-country suppliers. Manage contractual frameworks to ensure quality, cost-effective, and reliable supply while implementing aligned category strategies. Regularly benchmark supplier performance through formal onboarding and monitoring, mitigating risks by developing alternative sources. Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, GST frameworks, and import/export documentation requirements, including DGFT norms. Drive ethical sourcing practices in line with Aggreko's ESG standards and Supplier Code of Conduct. Work closely with the global Directs team and the newly formed Indian Procurement team to support the forthcoming manufacturing facility and Global Procurement Hub.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment
