Category Lead and Senior Sourcing Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies aligned with Invesco's objectives for Investment Services and Platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement, manage key sourcing events including RFx and renewals, and negotiate contracts. Monitor supplier performance, evaluate service level agreements, and conduct market research to identify trends and risks. Lead supplier relationship management initiatives to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards. Full-time, exempt, New York office presence required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management, and technology preferably in financial services
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with proficiency in procurement software and tools
- spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree desirable
- Will consider 10 years relevant business experience in the Investment Services category area
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus
