Job Summary
Conduct and deliver seasonal category market research and competitive analysis to drive long-term growth for Travel and Lifestyle/everyday product categories. Prioritize and commercialize technical opportunities by partnering with global Design, Sales, and Marketing to develop five-year strategic plans and detailed annual category plans with ROI. Manage product line planning, assortment reviews, and GTM strategies while overseeing field-testing programs, warranty assessments, and legal IP clearance. Improve costing and forecasting models with Finance and Sales, ensuring accurate documentation for line lists and product pipelines. Support product launches through sales material development and retailer engagement, while fostering team development via training plans and regular coaching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, design or relevant field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in outdoor packs, bags and travel luggage
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing staff
- Proven background in developing innovative products
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)
- Authorized to work full time in the United States
- Ability to attend early and evening calls as required
