Job Summary
Develop strategic procurement strategies for Materials and Non-Production Services, managing categories including MRO, CAPEX, and professional services. Lead tender processes, evaluate bids, and select suppliers while negotiating prices, commercial terms, and SLAs to drive cost optimization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international vendors to standardize products, monitor KPIs, and identify new sourcing opportunities. Requires higher education in management or industrial engineering, 5+ years in strategic procurement, and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is essential, along with ERP system proficiency. Flexible start times between 6:45 and 8:30 are available for office staff.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education in management, industrial engineering, technical fields, or related areas
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or procurement, preferably in Materials and Non-Production Services
- Experience in purchasing indirect materials and services and managing suppliers
- Knowledge of tendering processes, contract management, and negotiating service and framework agreements
- Very good analytical skills combined with an organized and solution-oriented working style
- Knowledge of cost structures, procurement KPIs, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Independence, assertiveness, and commitment to the strategic development of assigned procurement categories
- Very good command of the English language in both speaking and writing
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office package
- Willingness for occasional domestic and foreign business trips, mainly to Germany
