Job Summary

Category Buyer responsible for managing and optimizing assigned spend categories, including procurement of materials, products, and services for resale and manufacturing. Drives cost efficiency, supply security, and operational accuracy through supplier partnerships, lifecycle PO management, inventory/demand planning, and international logistics. Collaborates with internal stakeholders across global suppliers, focusing on reducing total cost of ownership, maintaining accurate item masters and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery. Key activities include supplier relationship management across Asia, end-to-end PO lifecycle oversight, inventory targets, and evaluating air vs. ocean freight decisions to support supply readiness and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing a large SKU portfolio with thousands of active items
  • Ability to work with highly technical product categories with multiple variants
  • Experience building and managing supplier relationships, including across Asia
  • Ability to oversee full lifecycle management of purchase orders
  • Experience with inventory and demand planning, and communicating demand signals to suppliers
  • Knowledge of import processes, HTS classification, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers
