Job Summary
Conduct CT scans and assist radiologists during invasive procedures while adhering to radiation protection standards. Properly identify patients, perform diagnostic radiographic services, and evaluate technical quality. Communicate clinical observations and present patient history to the radiologist. Inject contrast in accordance with department policy and complete patient questionnaires prior to exams. Provide educational information to patients regarding their examinations. Perform 3-D imaging functions and operate equipment with frequent hand use. Requires ARRT registry, current BLS certification, and evening shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT recognized education program graduate or ARRT registered
- Advanced registry in CT
- ARRT registry
- Current state license (NJDEP)
- Current BLS certification
- 1 year of experience
- Current BLS certification within three months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology
- 2 years or more of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
- Recent CT Scan experience
