Job Summary
Perform medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures using computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis. Accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, and position patients to capture appropriate images. This role involves day, evening, or overnight shifts across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island campuses. Qualified candidates with a radiologic technology certificate, New York State license, and ARRT registration will be contacted individually for interviews regarding current and upcoming openings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State license
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (For some positions)
- Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
