Job Summary
Select proper imaging protocols and parameters based on clinical history, then perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans using established protocols. Provide patient, family, and staff comfort before, during, and after procedures while recognizing and responding to emergent situations. Maintain accurate records, troubleshoot equipment, and orient new staff under radiologist direction. Demonstrate competency in identification of pathology, interventional biopsies, 3-D reconstruction, and contrast injections. Complete work before submission and comply with infection prevention procedures. Maintain cooperative relationships with interdepartmental team members and students.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Allied Health
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
- Knowledge of Cross-Sectional Anatomy
- Knowledge of Venipuncture
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT - Computed Tomography within 2 Yrs
- Minimum continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio
- ARRT licensure
- ODH licensure
