Cat Scan Technologist Part-Time Overnights

Job Summary
Conduct CT scan examinations and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures, including injecting contrast and performing 3-D imaging functions. Communicate clinical observations and present patient history to the Radiologist, while verifying correct patient selection and ensuring accurate Medical Record information before sending images to PACS. Complete patient questionnaires, provide examination education, and maintain professional development through in-services and continuing education. Adhere to downtime procedures to ensure continuity of care and meet department quality standards. Work Monday and Friday from 7 PM to 7 AM as a part-time Registered Cat Scan Technologist at St. Luke's University Health Network.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT recognized education program graduate
- ARRT registered
- Advanced registry in CT
- A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology
- 1 year of experience
- Current state license (NJDEP)
- Current BLS certification
- Employment history for the past seven (7) years
Desired Qualifications
- AART registered
- A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Two years or more of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting preferred
- Recent CT Scan experience preferred
