Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine while maintaining competency in at least two modalities. Communicate exams and procedures to patients and troubleshoot computer software issues. Provide on-call coverage for additional modalities as needed to support routine operations. Maintain licensure and certification through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS. Requires BLS certification and one to two years of clinical radiology experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
