Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography while maintaining competency in at least two modalities. Provide on-call coverage for additional specialties as needed by the modality and communicate exam details to patients. Maintain proficiency in radiographic practices, computer software troubleshooting, and patient care equipment. Requires BLS certification and 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience. This role supports the second or additional modalities on a routine basis.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
- Available to work in the modality
- Provide on call coverage for these modalities as needed by the modality
