Job Summary
Provide clinical CT scan services according to radiology practice standards, demonstrating understanding of imaging principles, anatomy, positioning, and technique for optimal studies. Administer intravenous contrast media using venipuncture techniques and assist physicians in performing various imaging studies. Act as a resource to other technologists to ensure optimal patient care and efficient departmental operations. This part-time role requires 28 scheduled weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates understanding of computerized tomography imaging principles and theory
- Demonstrates understanding of anatomy, positioning, and technique for obtaining optimal imaging studies
- Demonstrates understanding of venipuncture techniques and practices for the administration of intravenous contrast media
