Job Summary
Perform a variety of clinical and research procedures requiring independent judgment, producing and evaluating CT images for technical quality while properly identifying images and patients. Effectively use judgment for protocols and procedures, including medication oversight with documentation of contrast media delivery. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, JCAHO, and regulatory agency requirements. Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Full-time position with a $10K sign-on bonus for new hires. Salary range $54.51 - $67.48 per hour. Requires an accredited two-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, NYS DOH license, and contrast injection certification. One year of diagnostic experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
- ARRT registration
- NYS DOH Radiology license
- Certified to inject contrast
- One year of Diagnostic Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association accepted only)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography
