Job Summary
Review patient history and physician orders, then educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, while continuously monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results to identify quality issues and taking action such as repositioning or repeating scans. Enter, transmit, and report scan results. Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions as necessary. This full-time night shift role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus for a twenty-four-month commitment, with schedules ranging from 11 pm to 9 am or 12 am to 8 am.
Required Qualifications
- current NM Radiologic Technologist license
- graduate of an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine
- associate's degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire
- ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
- work under the supervision of an ARRT(CT) technologist until ARRT(CT) is obtained (if not ARRT(CT) upon hire)
