Job Summary
Casualty Claims Specialist responsible for investigating and settling automobile bodily injury and casualty claims, including complex liability cases and claims involving severe injuries. Duties include evaluating files, conducting thorough investigations, documenting policy status, determining liability and damages, coordinating with third parties, counsel, and leadership, researching case and statutory law, preparing claim evaluations for settlement authority, and managing expenses. Requires 3-5 years of casualty claims experience, knowledge of legal/medical terminology, strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to obtain licensure as a claims adjuster, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
