Job Summary
Manage high-value, complex A&E professional liability and casualty claims involving litigation, design errors, and construction defects. Conduct investigations, evaluate coverage positions, and negotiate resolutions while controlling outside counsel and technical expert costs. Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings, balancing financial outcomes with client relationships. Prepare timely reports on complex losses and share emerging trends with underwriting. Travel for site inspections, expert reviews, and legal proceedings. Requires 5+ years of A&E claims experience, state adjuster license, and proficiency in claims management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant claims experience
- Willingness to obtain and maintain state adjuster licenses and complete continuing education requirements
- Travel required: minimal to moderate, depending on claim needs
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen
