Job Summary
Supporting the Lead Technician in executing on-site and workshop scopes of work, assisting the Base Supervisor with job allocation in the absence of a Senior Technician, and maintaining a daily diary. Responsibilities include promoting Furmanite services, complying with the company's Quality System, and maintaining work area cleanliness. Required skills include fitting and machining qualifications, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and in a team.
Required Qualifications
- With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill
- Trade certificate is highly preferable
- Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License
- Must hold a Construction Card
- Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good written and verbal communication in the English language
- Computer literacy
Additional Requirements
- Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License
- Must hold a Construction Card
