Job Summary
Casual Stage Manager responsible for day-to-day management of entertainment activities across a range of events, including show-planning, formulating run orders, schedules, stage plots and call sheets, and coordinating rehearsals and venue management where required. Lead a small stage management team to ensure safe and effective delivery of all programming across events, with duties spanning pre-production, event delivery, and post-production. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills and experience managing staff, performers, and stakeholders on large-scale productions. Availability requested for late September to late February, with Monday–Friday work during pre-production and weekend work during event delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Have tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in stage management with significant experience in show-calling and stage management on large scale events or theatrical productions.
- Previous experience in the management of staff, performers and stakeholders on large scale events or theatrical productions.
