Job Summary
Assist with developing, planning, and implementing a wide variety of activities including public skates, birthday parties, programs, and special events at the Kerry Park Recreation Centre. Perform skate sharpening, manage inventory, and oversee float operations while adhering to a flexible schedule covering days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and school professional development days. A valid Basic First Aid Certificate is required, with a preference for candidates aged 15 or older possessing at least two years of skating experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 14 years old
- A valid Basic First Aid Certificate is required
- In addition, the successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory criminal record check
Desired Qualifications
- preference given to candidates who are 15 or older
- A minimum of 2 years of skating experience is preferred
- Experience with sharpening skates, performing inventory and overseeing a float would be considered assets
