Job Summary
Complete daily operations including opening and closing duties, stocking, and maintaining walk-ins and fridges. Meet and greet guests, coordinate with colleagues regarding preferences and allergies, and maintain accurate billing and cash handling. Possess full knowledge of food and beverage menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods while practicing effective up-selling techniques. This role requires Pro-Serve Certification, minimum two years of server experience in a high-volume environment, and extensive wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge. Candidates must be able to carry and serve three plates at once and maintain schedule flexibility for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting rate is $17.22 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Pro-Serve Certification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Server in a high-volume and fast paced environment
- Previous point-of-sale system experience
- Extensive wine, beer and cocktail knowledge
- Must be able to carry and serve 3 plates at one time
- Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
- Availability must include a minimum of 2 days per week with 8 hours per shift
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
