Job Summary
Control access to the property, enforce rules, and inspect all areas for safety and security while acting as a steward of Kohanaiki's values. Respond to emergency calls calmly, report incidents, and communicate effectively with members, guests, and the public. Perform shifts as a greeter, beach security officer, or security rover, operating utility vehicles on uneven terrain and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Maintain exceptional customer service standards and adhere to strict attendance and safety procedures. Work a 24-hour schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, reporting any unsafe practices to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Guard Card Certification
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Ability to walk on uneven terrain
- Ability to drive utility vehicles on off-road terrain
- Able to work outdoors in an environment where they are exposed to high temperatures, wind, & rain
- Able to work during, evenings, weekend and holidays
- Able to work on uneven terrain
- Responsible / alert drivers capable of maneuvering utility vehicles in a safe manner around hazardous conditions (large crowds, heavy machinery, heavy traffic, etc.)
- Must be able to communicate with fellow team members and supervisors about job tasks, responsibilities, suggestions, & concerns
