Job Summary
Casual Sales Assistant role in Hobart Salvos Stores reporting to the Area Manager. Responsibilities include retail sales and operating Point of Sale devices, sorting, pricing and preparing donated items for sale, supporting visual merchandising and store presentation, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding OH&S policies. Demonstrates TSA values (integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, diversity) and works across multiple Hobart-area stores with weekend flexibility. Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering results are preferred; prior retail experience is highly regarded but not essential. Must be prepared to work across various locations in the retail area and align with the Salvos’ mission to support the community.
Required Qualifications
