Job Summary
Casual RN/EN positions at St John of God Subiaco Day Surgery. Deliver outstanding patient care in a 46-bed DOSA/unit providing preoperative and postoperative care across Cardiology, Orthopaedic, ENT, Vascular, Gynaecology, Plastics and General Surgery. Responsibilities include patient assessment, pre-operative education, post-surgical care, assisting in managing patient flow, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse. Requires excellent communication, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach to care. Casual hourly rates available for RN ($52.30–$67.24, plus 12% super) and EN ($45.80–$48.85, plus 12% super) with flexible options and potential salary packaging; hospital offers development opportunities and staff benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- Previous perioperative nursing or surgical/critical care experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, compassionate approach to care
