Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed in Saint Helens, OR to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, and handle data entry and billing. Role includes preparing specimens for testing, maintaining patient/specimen logs, providing strong customer service, and potential travel to additional sites. Offers a quarterly incentive bonus program and comprehensive benefits for those scheduled 20+ hours weekly. Opportunities for growth within Labcorp and equal employment opportunity participation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
